Emmitt Mark Harrison

Emmitt Mark Harrison, age 53, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Pastor Matt Stephens officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home. Serving as pall bearers will be Cody Smith, Frank Harrison, Hunter Daniels, Cameron Cole, Matthew Ray, Scott Hardegree and Joshua Bailey.

Mr. Harrison was born October 22, 1966 in Bessemer, Alabama, son of the late Emmitt Ray Harrison and Judith C. Rains of Bessemer, Alabama. He was an Over the Road Truck Driver and attended The Fort Church in Columbus, GA. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Ray Harrison.

He is survived by his mother, Judith Rains; his wife of 23 years, Amanda Parker Harrison of Phenix City, AL; sons, Frank Harrison of Columbus, GA and Drake Alexander Harrison of Phenix City, AL; daughter, Christine Harrison of Columbus, GA; brother, Daniel Joseph Harrison (Olga) of Hallendale, FL; sister, Pamela Harrison; mother and father-in-law, Linda and William Jackson; nieces, Brittany Graybill and Stephanie Ray; nephews, Cameron Cole of Phenix City, AL and Matvey Harrison of Hallendale, FL; aunts, Joyce Newton and Peggy Thompson both of Bessemer, AL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
