Visitation for Family and Friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City, Lakewood Hall, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867, on April 25, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service will take place at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867, on April 25, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

Mrs. Benton is the daughter of the late Malcum White and Mae Kennedy. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chestley Benton, Sr., sons, Marvin Benton, Melvin Benton and daughter, Teresa Kay Campbell.

Survivors include her son, Chestley Ronnie Benton, Jr. and wife, Christine Denise Benton, seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She will be remembered by her family for her love cooking, crafting, sewing, watching westerns and most of all loved her family.
