Jeffery "J.T." Thomas Wade, 53 of Smiths Station, Alabama died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL with a private burial in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Wade was born August 25, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late Thomas Arthur and Linda Hinson Wade. He was employed with Snyder Lance Company, was a volunteer for the Smiths Station Fire Department and an avid Auburn Fan.
Survivors include his brother, Brian Wade, niece, Lisa Wade, nephews, Matt Wade, Brad Baker, aunt, Barbara Newsome, longtime friend, Grady Leverett, several close cousins and friends.
