Jerry was preceded in death by his grandfather Melvin. A Teeters and survived by his wife Rosanna, his five children: Lexus, Gage, Alivia, Jerilynn, and Allie, his granddaughter Addilynn, his brothers: Brandon Barnes, Wesley Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Cody Taylor, his sister Ashley Taylor, his mother Deborah Teeters Barnes, and his father Jerry Allen Taylor.
Jerry, alongside his brothers, grew up in West Palm Beach where he was raised by his mother, Debbie. He enjoyed playing sports such as baseball and wrestling where he exceeded expectations by always being the loudest and proudest player on (and off) the team.
Jerry wore many titles ranging from husband, to father, son, brother, coach, protector, and friend. Jerry’s fulfillment and love for his family was fierce, obvious, and ceaseless; he ensured they knew so by expressing his pride for them and their accomplishments as often as he could.
Jerry was passionate about giving back to the world. From organizing donations for single mothers, to providing those who were down on their luck with food and shelter, to repairing vehicles for a discounted price at his shop Precision Tune Auto Care for people who couldn’t have afforded such, he was there without hesitation to do anything for the ones who needed his help.
Jerry ensured to be a bright part of all aspects of life by doing things such as coaching softball alongside his daughters, camping and making memories with friends and family, and finding peace in making his land a home for his family with his never-ending list of improvements.
