Lillian Howell Wright

Lillian "Lil" Howell Wright, 83 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Columbus Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. EST Monday March 11, 2013 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Grant Parker officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N/280W, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wright was born April 13, 1929 in Phenix City, Alabama; daughter of the late Enoch and Gertrude Field Howell. She was a member of the Seale Homemakers Club, was a homemaker and was baptist by faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Wright, Jr. and brothers, Charles Howell and Marvin Howell.

Survivors include her daughters, Susan Wright Hoffman of Phenix City, AL, Laura Wright Meyer and husband Wayne of Columbus, GA, Leslie Wright Leonard and husband Wesley of LaGrange, GA, brother, Thomas Howell and wife June of Hatchechubbee, AL, grandchildren, Alyssa Berard and husband Todd, Marlo Hoffman, Tripp Meyer, Ryan Leonard, three great grandchildren, Lilly Meyer Berard, Fletcher Berard, Isa Berard, niece, Barbara Howell of Seale, AL, nephews, Brian and David Howell and a special family friend, Betty Henderson and many cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
