Margaret Rebecca Munoz, 56 of Seale, AL passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Columbus, GA. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM EDT at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Danny Hutto officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Beckie was born November 8, 1954 in Hattiesburg, MS daughter of the late Leroy and Eleanor Kitchens Fairchild. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Kitchens. She was baptist by faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Johns and husband Todd of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Desrochers of Seale, AL, sisters, Jackie Barfield Sharpe and husband, Earl of Seale, AL, Jessie Bowden and husband, Mike of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, June Thomas, Melody Johns, Chelsea Wilkerson, Tiffany Zachary and numerous, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
