Mavis L Shores

Mavis L Shores, age 87, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. Mavis was born in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Versie Pinkston Coe and Lawsey Coe. She was retired from Hallmark formerly Litho-Chrome after many years.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Shores and her daughter, Sherry Shores Gay.

Mavis is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" Shores and her brother, Walter Earl Coe (Phyllis). She will be remembered by her family as a selfless, loving mother who took care of her husband and children.

A celebration of life graveside funeral service for Mavis will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867.
