Nicholas Eugene Roberts, 56 of Navarre, FL, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at his home. Funeral services with military honors will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Roberts was born June 26, 1954 in Columbus, Georgia, son of the late Thomas Eugene and Rosita Rigas Roberts. He served as a Seabee\Battalion 24 in the U.S. Navy during the Gulf War, was self-employed and was in the Naval Reserves.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Joy Roberts of Navarre, FL, children, Amy Roberts, Jamie Roberts-Evans and husband Chris of Phenix City, AL, Jenny Roberts of Milton, FL, Amy Barnett of Alpharetta, GA, Jeremy Barnett of Lawrenceville, GA, sister, Stephanie Maguire, brothers, David Roberts, Tommy Roberts all of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Kaila Cramer, Justin Dunn, Joseph Dunn,, Jared Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Peyton Evans, Katie Jo Evans and Aubrey Hamm.
