Ronnie was born September 12, 1944 in Phenix City, Alabama; son of the late Hubert and Viola Johnston McArdle. He was retired from Uniroyal, was a former pastor of Bethany Congregational Church in Phenix City, member of the First Assembly of God Church in Phenix City and was an avid Auburn Fan.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty McArdle and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mardelle McArdle, daughters, Penny McArdle, Sue McDaniel (Craig), sons, Joseph McArdle, Dwayne Burdeshaw (Stephanie), John Burdeshaw (Christie), sisters, Odessa McArdle, grandchildren, Alan McDaniel, Meagan Cooley, Kaitlyn McDaniel, Casondra Hannan, J.T. Hannan, Chance, Christian and Kaitlyn Burdeshaw along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
