Ruth P. David

Ruth P. David, 71 of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama died Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Columbus Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. EST at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor John Cowan officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. David was born April 7, 1939 in Tishomingo, Mississippi, daughter of the late George F. and Bettie Wilson Perry. She was retired from Bell South, was a member of Oswichee Baptist Church in Ft. Mitchell and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. David, and her brother, Ray Perry.

Survivors include her children, Daniel David and wife, Deborah of Ft. Mitchell, AL, Thomas David and wife, Jennifer of Oklahoma City, OK, Lauri Franklin and husband, Bob of Ft. Mitchell, AL, brother, Roy Perry and wife, Carla of Bessemer, AL, sisters, Betty Reynolds and husband Johnny, Linda Faulkner and husband, Charlie all of Hueytown, AL, grandchildren, Robert Franklin, II, Jonathan David, Jennifer Barrett, great grandchildren, Addison and Jackson Barrett,

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
