Sandra Lewis, affectionately known as Sandy, was born in Kentucky to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kennedy. She was one of the twelve siblings, and though her family was large, she was known for her loving and selfless nature, always putting others first.
Sandy lived a simple life, filled with kindness and compassion. She was a true friend to all who knew her and her love for her family and friends was immeasurable. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate to have known her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronnie Lewis of Phenix City, Alabama. Survivors include her two stepdaughters, two step-grandchildren, one step-great grandson, one brother, two sisters, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who will remember her warmth and generosity.
In honor of Sandy’s love for animals, the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to local animal shelters, a cause dear to her heart.
