Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 in the Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL. with Dr. Ralph Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sandra was born in Columbus, GA. on March 28, 1946 to Vera Carrington Harcus of Phenix City, AL. and the late Herman Carrington. She was a lifelong area resident and was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning, GA with 35 years of service. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Joe Ellis Spear, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Tracy Jordan and husband Clint, and Jason Stanley Spear and wife April, all of Phenix City, AL, mother, Vera Carrington Harcus of Phenix City, AL, brother, Tommy Carrington of Falkville, AL, grandchildren, Carter Jordan, Caulin Jordan, Canton Jordan, Cooper Jordan and Skyler Spear, aunt, Mary Laney, cousin, Larry Wilson both of Phenix City, AL, and numerous other cousins and family.
