Timothy Allen Franklin

Timothy Allen Franklin, 52 of Phenix City, Alabama died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday February 17, 2016 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-hamby, Phenix City, AL. with Rev. Jim Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Franklin was born July 23, 1963 in Phenix City, Alabama; son of the late Cecil Edgar Franklin and Mary Anna Schuster Franklin of Phenix City, AL. He has previously worked in radio for WPNX and was a DJ at the Skatarama in Phenix City for many years. He was most recently employed with the David Rothschild Company in Columbus, GA.

Other than his mother, Mary Anna Franklin, he is survived by his siblings, Cecil Franklin of Smiths, AL, Steve Franklin (Angie), Randy Franklin (Debra), Diane Ruhland (Russell), Dixie Harwood (Scott) all of Phenix City, AL; nieces and nephews, Stephen Franklin, Tina Haugue, Jennifer Franklin, Amanda Hamrick, Michael Franklin, Paula Moreland,, Robert Franklin, Derek Franklin, Brooke Robinson and Clay Harwood; great nieces and nephews; Matt, Kala, Nicole, Anna, Adam, Lena, Blake, Brendon, Grace, Dalton, Colt, James, Ben and Ryan.
