Wanda Jean Thompson Sullivan, 45, of Seale, Alabama, passed away Thursday June 21, 2012 in Columbus, Georgia. She is now “safe in the arms of Jesus”. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm ( EST) Tuesday June 26th in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867, with the Reverend David Kees officiating. Interment will be in Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Wanda was born November 8, 1966 in Aiken, South Carolina, daughter of Malcolm L. and Helen Thompson of Phenix City, AL. She was a homemaker.
Survivors other than her parents include sons, Christopher N. Thompson of Phenix City, Joshua A. Munn of Hilton Head, SC., James B. Sullivan of Phenix City, sister, Andrea Araneta of Phenix City, brothers, Mike Rabun , Brian Thompson and Marshall Thompson, all of Phenix City, friend, Jerry Wilson of Seale, AL., aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
