Benjamin C. Cruz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjamin C. Cruz, on April 28, 2025, at the age of 82. Benjamin was born on January 16, 1943 in Banamichi Sonora, son of Ramon Cruz and Rafaela Coronado De Cruz. He lived a full and vibrant life marked by unwavering devotion to his family.

A beloved husband, father, brother, Tata, great-grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria V. Cruz.

Benjamin was a dedicated family man who had a lifelong love for horses and the outdoors. His love for plants was more than a passion, it was a reflection of the care and dedication he gave to every aspect of his life. He was a man rooted in family, always present, willing to help and share his time and wisdom.

He cherished the simple things: long conversations, sharing stories from his life experiences, and enjoying his favorite breakfast and coffee at Denny’s. He had a way of turning everyday moments into treasured memories.

Benjamin’s life was a testament to his unconditional love, hard work, and generosity. His presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

His Memorial Services will be performed at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens at 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042 on Friday, May 16, 2025.
