Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Elva passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on August 4, 2011 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Magdaleno; daughter Lorraine Gonzalez; and son Robert Chavez. Surviving is her loving family which includes daughter Georgina Carreras, her husband David, children Andrea (Wayne), Adam (Jocelynn), Armando and Michael; daughter Lydia Martinez, her husband Steve, and daughter Sabrina; and son Michael, his wife Pamela and son Joseph. Other grandchildren include Sara, Stefanie, and Alex Gonzalez; Christina and Eliabeth Chavez. Great grandchildren include Chavez, Tony, Kendra, Ethan, Macdaleno, Devano, Vashti, Jessica, Alexus, Leonard, Michael, Catalina, Michael, and Rome.
