Henry J. Sanchez, known and loved as "Bird", 58, resident of Phoenix, passed away on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 surrounded by friends and family members. He was born on August 18th, 1966 to Julian Sanchez and Isabelle Calistro Gonzales in Cottonwood; where he grew up and attended the local schools. Henry worked as a forklift technician all around the valley. He loved anything loud and fast, music and spending time with his family and friends. Henry was the youngest son in his family, consisting of 10 brothers and 3 sisters. He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, brothers, Louis "Cookie" Calistro, Richard Gonzales, Robert Gonzales (Victoria), Raul Gonzales, and sisters Virginia Morgan (John), Rosella Calistro (Chuck). He leaves behind his daughter, Brionna, with his wife Kelli, brothers Daniel Soto (Maxine) of Cottonwood, LeRoy Gonzales of Cottonwood, Carlos Gonzales with his wife, Dawn of Tempe, Frank Gonzales with his wife, Kim of Phoenix, Marcus Sanchez with his wife, Judy of Cottonwood and his sister Paula Gonzales of Cottonwood. Henry was also a beloved uncle and great uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He left a lasting impression on all he crossed paths with and will be forever in our hearts.
