Jorge Gonzalez-Lopez

Jorge Alberto Gonzalez-Lopez "Gordo", passed away on a Thursday sunset of August 19th, 2021 at age 45 in Phoenix, Arizona. Jorge was born on August 6th, 1976 in Sun Luis Rio Colorado Mexico with the devoted Parents Maria Dolores and Jose Jorge Gonzalez. They were the mother and father of 6 children, Jorge being the second oldest. He was raised in the city of Tempe, Arizona were he attended school to later go on and work along side his father in concrete construction. He did this line of work until being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, which he fought with the support, love, and care of his sister Malessa Gonzalez. Unfortunately he had passed while awaiting a heart transplant.

Jorge surrounded his loved ones as he peacefully passed away.

Living family members include:

His siblings Sandra, Alejandro, Jose Juan, Vanessa, and Malessa Gonzalez

His Children Emilio, Erick, Emilie, and Ericka Gonzalez

As well as many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Sister-in-law, brother-in-law, Cousins, and Friends.

His loved ones miss his jokes and his goofy self. He will be remembered for how much he loved to play pool, his enjoyment at the ballpark, his love for watching his favorite team U of A Tucson, his excitement for movies, as well as his love for Sunday morning fishing trips with his Dad and the Bros.

A viewing will be held in his honor at Resthaven Carr-Tenney Chapel on September 9th at 4-8pm.
