Joseph Ernest Paquette

Ernie was born on November 26, 1945, to Ernest and Anita Paquette. He was raised in Fitchburg Massachusetts, graduated from Fitchburg High School, and embraced a career serving both the United States military and postal service.

Ernie married Joanne Vienneau, moved to Arizona, and raised two wonderful boys, Scott and Chris. Following their divorce many years later, Ernie married Paulette on November 14th, 1992; a beautiful, loving woman, and dear friend he grew up with since her birth in 1946. Through his marriage to Paulette, he expanded his family to include Catherine, Spencer, and Brad.

Ernie was a gifted photographer, expert marksman, loved the military, Paulette, his children, and his dogs. He was proud to be of service to his country and his community. He was a quiet soul who shared warmth and kindness through smiles, sparkling eyes, brevity, and being ever present.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette; his children, Scott, Chris, Spencer, and Brad; and his three grandchildren. He was followed in death by his parents and sister, Diana.

A funeral service will be held at 12PM on April 16th, 2026, at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary and Memorial Gardens, with a 2-hour visitation prior.
