Tata Julian, I will always remember stopping by your house for Halloween, visiting your house on holidays and chasing the chickens around or looking at their eggs. I also remember you stopping by my house on 2nd st and talking to me. Ahhhh the good ol' days. Thank you for sharing your words of encouragement when I was going to school and pursuing my degree. You will always be remembered and I love you. See you on the other side but in the meantime you can always visit me in my dream. Love you Tata Julian. Xoxo

Dad, I will miss our daily talks and visits.  I have so many memories that I will carry into my years.  When I get sad thinking about you I tell Jesus thank you for allowing him to live long so that I could have those special moments with you.  I will miss the silly affectionate things you said and did like kiss my hand, good night and happy dreams, mijita linda.  I can still see you doing your dance in your chair when you won money at the casino.  I love that you had tons of names for people:  Ms. Moon, tabiki, pero muerto, colachi, cucuruchi, wita cochi, pilis, pelo guero.  You had a kind heart I was proud of you and told you when I saw your acts of kindness from saving coins to give the elderly man that passed by in the mornings collecting cans to giving money to a friend in need or your family.  I love your stories from the old days and would periodically ask you tell me about the time ????  Daddy I know you are in heaven and you are my guardian angel but I know you are doing the happy dance because it is so beautiful up there and now you have your precious loving wife with you. Sorry for your loss, It's strange that around a couple of weeks ago I asked my mom about tio willo, not knowing he had passed away. My mom said, my dad Rudy D. Romo loved to hang around him.... she remembers his expressions pillys "pilsners" and especially greenbacks!! My mom and I send our condolences to you all! Your name Julian has been carried on.. one of your great-grandson has your name. Joshua Julian... you have many decendents Dad. Here in Houston three grandsons and ten great-gradchildren... They always knew about their Tata Julian in Phoenix... not to often did we visit but we knew you were there... will be so different when we go back to Arizona not to find you there... won't forget you Pa or as the kids called you Tata Pa... may God give all our family peace .... Our  Dad farewell for now. You always said you wanted to reach 100, you got pretty close. The Mexican Jew as they also called you made me laugh, but there was a reason behind that, for you worked hard for all that Washington as you called it. Our lives here on earth are complicated as we are the ones that make our destinys. my dearest loving grandfather I will miss you greatly an all the wonderful long talks we had in the days of sitting under the tree but the one thing I will never forget those words you said close to love you children with all your heart and listen to them and be there for them no matter what.
