He was as born on January 20, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ to Alton and Dortha Pinson.
Larry joined the Army in 1967 and was stationed in Vietnam and Germany.
After his service, he attended Phoenix Community College and Arizona State University where he obtained his Bachelor degree.
While attending college, he began his 33 year career with Motorola where he met the love of his life, Kathleen Shannon. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage.
Larry is survived by his wife, Kathleen, daughter April (Todd) Jessen, his son, Jeremy (Heather) Pinson, his grandchildren, Andrew (Mary) Jessen, Ashley Jessen Mason and Zachary Pinson, as well as his sisters, Sharon Boothe, and Beverly (Ron) Rineck.
A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 9:00AM at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.
