Lila Barar

Lila worked at Motorola in the final testing department for 30 years, and her strong work ethic is something she passed onto her children. Lila loved cooking for her family and friends, it was her way of showing love. Lila loved the church and was always giving to her favorite charities like St Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Feed the Children.

Lila leaves behind her husband of 56 years Vijay Barar, and her two children Simi and Ashwani Barar. Her grandchildren Storm, Shane, and Lyla were her pride and joy. Lila was a loving wife, amazing mother, and adoring grandma. If you knew Lila, then you were already family and there is nothing she would not do for you.

Lila will be missed by her family and friends, and all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on January 14, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, located at 4310 East Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042.

The funeral service will take place on January 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the same location, with a graveside service to follow from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm, also at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens.

A catered reception will be held following the graveside service, at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
