Lloyd Allen Arnold

Lloyd Allen Arnold was born on August 11, 1946 in White Castle, LA. Lloyd was one of 8 children born to the late Chester Sr. and Albertha (Smith) Arnold. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Oliver “T.J.” Arnold Sr. and two sisters, Ernestine Mathis and Evelyn Soniat.

Lloyd graduated from Iberville High School in Plaquemine, Louisiana. He married Pamala Jo Harding they spent 47 years as husband and wife. Unto this union, God’s gift was two daughters.

Lloyd dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized by Reverend Jospeh Dandridge at St. John the Baptist Church in Dorseyville, LA. Upon relocation to Phoenix, AZ he rededicated his life to the Lord and joined New Hope Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Reverend James L. Harris Sr.

Lloyd leaves to adorn his memory, his beloved wife Pamala Arnold, 2 daughters Yolanda Corley (Leron) of Marrero, Louisiana, Dawn Vandeveer (Jon) of Goodyear, Arizona; 2 grandchildren Skylar Lynn and Alfred Allen. His remaining siblings; Thelma Hawkins(Herbert Sr.), Melvin Sr., Chester Jr. (Brenda) and Lydia “Linda” Aboagye and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Lloyd will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Greater Progressive Christian Church, 1529 W McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85007.
