Maria Esther Enriquez

Maria Esther Enriquez, 77, passed away on Sunday March 12, 2017 in Mesa, AZ surrounded by her loving family. We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating her life. The viewing will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042, on Friday, March 17th from 6-8PM.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 10AM at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 650 W Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041. The burial will take place immediately following the religious service at Resthaven Funeral Home. Maria Esther Enriquez was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, loved by all.

Maria Esther Enriquez was born to Marcelo Morales and Ana Maria Almeida on March 5, 1940 in Bella Vista, Chihuahua, Mexico. Maria Esther had three siblings: Rosa Emma, Elba and Rafael. As a child Maria Esther resided in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua.

On October 16th, 1959 Maria Esther married Luis Enriquez in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. They had 6 children: Luis Alberto, Sonia, Alfredo, Efren, Jorge and Miguel. Luis and Maria Esther moved from Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua to Chicago, Illinois where they lived for seven years before making Phoenix, Arizona their permanent home.

Maria Esther dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She was admired for her kind spirit, amazing tamales, heavenly singing voice, and her beautiful home. She was an angel on earth, living a pure and virtuous life filled with love. She lived the teachings of her faith by consistently showing kindness and trust to everyone that walked into her life.

Maria Esther was preceded in death by her parents Marcelo and Ana Morales and her siblings, Elba and Rosa Emma.

She is survived by her husband Luis Enriquez, her brother Rafael, her children and their spouses: Luis Alberto and Sandra Enriquez, Mark and Sonia Borium, Alfredo Enriquez, Efren and Maria Enriquez, Jorge and LiAna Enriquez, and Miguel Enriquez, along with her eleven grandchildren: Michael, Samantha, Ricardo, Nicole, Alexa, Monique, Victoria, Alyssa, Antonio, Brianna, Liliana, and great-grandchild, Ava.

Rather than mourn the death of Maria Esther Enriquez, she wanted friends and family to celebrate her life.

María Esther Enríquez, falleció a los 77 anos, el domingo 12 de marzo de 2017 en Mesa, Arizona, rodeada de su amada familia. Nos gustaría invitarlos a que se unan a nosotros para celebrar su vida. El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Resthaven, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042, el viernes, 17 de marzo de 6-8PM.

El servicio religioso de cuerpo presente se realizará el sábado 18 de marzo a las 10AM en la Iglesia de los Santos de los Últimos Días, 650 W Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041. El entierro será inmediatamente después del servicio religioso en la Funeraria de Resthaven.

Maria Esther Enríquez nació en Bella Vista, Chihuahua, México, hija de Marcelo Morales y Ana María Almeida. María Esther tuvo tres hermanos: Rosa Emma, Elba y Rafael Morales. De niña Maria Esther residió en Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua.

El 16 de octubre de 1959 María Esther se casó con Luis Enríquez en Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua, México. Tuvieron 6 hijos: Luis Alberto, Sonia, Alfredo, Efren, Jorge y Miguel. Luis y María Esther se mudaron de Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua a Chicago, Illinois, donde vivieron durante siete años antes de hacer Phoenix, Arizona su residencia permanente.

María Esther dedicó su vida a su familia y a su fe. Ella fue admirada por su espíritu bondadoso, increíbles tamales, voz celestial, y su hermoso hogar. Ella fue un ángel en la tierra, que vivió una vida pura, virtuosa y llena de amor. Ella vivió las enseñanzas de su fe, mostrando bondad y confianza a todos los que formaron parte de su vida.

María Esther fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres Marcelo y Ana Morales y sus hermanos, Elba y Rosa Emma Morales.

La sobreviven su esposo Luis Enríquez, su hermano Rafael Morales, sus hijos y sus cónyuges: Luis Alberto y Sandra Enríquez, Mark y Sonia Boirum, Alfredo Enríquez, Efren y María Enríquez, Jorge y LiAna Enríquez, y Miguel Enríquez. También sobreviven sus once nietos: Michael, Samantha, Ricardo, Nicole, Alexa, Monique, Victoria, Alyssa, Antonio, Brianna, Liliana y bisnieta, Ava.

En lugar de lamentar la muerte de María Esther Enríquez, ella deseaba que sus amigos y familiares celebraran su vida.
