Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2012 with her family by her side. She as born in Hayden, AZ on January 16, 1931. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jose, her parents, her son; Joe Jr., her sister, three brothers, and two grandsons. Mary is survived by her daughter; Molly Buchanan (Rudy), and by her sons; Larry Sordia Sr. (Jo), and David Sordia Sr. (Sandy). She also leaves behind; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Mary was an avid bowler for over 40 years and loved playing cards with her family. She will be sadly missed, bu lovingly remembered. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix, AZ on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 with the visitation beginning at 9:00am and funeral service and interment to follow beginning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
