I still cannot believe that I won't hear your voice in the background as I am talking to mom or that you won't be coming down the hallway when I walk into the house or see you sitting in your chair.  You taught me responsibility and to always pay my bills.  I didn't have to worry about car problems because you and Steven could do anything and if you couldn't, you took it to Ron.  I never felt like I was missing out on anything, you were such an amazing provider for our family.  The summer vacations are some of the best memories that I will always cherish.  I remember when I was little just watching you shave or combing your hair and how we used to watch TV together especially on Sundays...John Wayne, Tarzan, Star Trek, The World Beyond on Channel 5.  I will miss you forever 💔 until we meet again.  I love you so much, RIP daddy.

My father in law was such a wonderful man. I’m so sad that he has passed. He left a legacy of being a great father and loving husband. I remember all the times our family spent together during the holidays and the bbqs with his infamous delicious burgers. I’ve never had a better burger since the last one I had that he made. Dad Schwengler had a firecracker personality and I mean that in the best of ways. He was also a very faithful man in family and in church. One of the sweetest memories I have is, Dad had a way with babies. He could calm the cries instantly every time he held them in his hands. He truly was a baby whisperer. I’m sure that having a large family gave him that magical touch. There are so many wonderful memories that I could share. My prayers are that comfort and peace will be in our hearts as we remember him and we know that we will see him again one day. RIP Dad Schwengler. You will be missed greatly. ❤️🙏

I would like to send my deepest condolences to you all. Mike and Teresa  are my God parents I love them so much  one of my memories of Mike and Teresa  when I use to spend the weekend at their home at Hickam Airforce Base in Hawaii was they treated me like one of there own I have so much respect for for them . Mike use to  always  move his ears and I thought that was so amazing . The last time they came to Hawaii they came to visit me and my husband and He smiled at me and moved his ears  smiled and told him wow you can still do that . I still thought in was amazing . Rest in peace and love Mike

Dad you were a great husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. You were a great provider and always put your family first. I also thank you and mom for showing us who Jesus is. This was very important to keep the marriage and family together. 
We have so many great memories. I remember everyday we always set the table and ate dinner together as a family. 
You worked so hard to always make sure each year we got new cloths for school and every summer you took us on a vacation to many different places however we always ended up at grandpa and grandma Schwengler and aunt Shirley and uncle Will’s place in Montana. 
At Christmas the tree was always so full and we always got what we ask for.  It was so much fun opening all our presents and being together as a family. The mess was a big clean up but we did it as a family.
I love you so much for showing us what it was to be a loving close family. 
There are so many memories that I have with you and I will cherish them and keep them in my heart forever. 
I thank you for showing me how to work on cars and different things with the household. 
You were tough but it made me and us stronger and who we are today. You instilled in us that we must work hard to get what we want because nothing in life is given to you. I thank you for this. 
I remember when I went back to Hawaii in January 01, 2005. 
You, mom and Marie would come to visit all the time. I remember you helping with Grandpa and Grandma and Aunt. All the different things we did. Dad I wouldn’t have changed anything. 
When I moved back to Arizona and took on doing many things for you, mom and Marie, I did it willingly and wouldn’t change it for the world. 
You went through so much but kept on moving forward and never showed if you were in pain. 
God bless you and I love you very much and miss you dearly.  I know you are with Jesus now. Rest in peace Dad!❤️

You always knew how to cheer me up. A hug, a snuggle, a laugh, M&M’s, an ice cream sundae with way too many peanuts. Your absolute sailor’s mouth even though you were in the Air Force. 

I keep trying to think what you would say to me now. Probably something like, “Buck up, babygirl. You’ve got those babies to take care of.” And you’d be right.. but as you always knew, I march to the beat of my own drum like you raised me to. I now look back fondly on those years that I terrorized you and Grammie with my fashion choices. You’d always tell me how beautiful I am “without all that sh*t in your face”. For the longest time, you’d grab my chin as soon as I saw you, just to inspect if I added anything new. The best part of those exchanges was how much I knew you loved me anyway, regardless of the head-shaking. You always have, no matter what I did. 

I called you “Daddy” for many years because you’re the best dad that a fatherless little girl could have ever lucked into having. I wouldn’t be who I am without your love or your strength. I wouldn’t know what love actually looked liked without you and Grammie. You were both my entire world for the majority of my childhood. All those trips.. They live in my heart like candles that will stay lit forever. All the nights that you and Grammie let me crawl into your bed because I was afraid of the thunder. Every mass that I begrudgingly served because I knew the look I would get if there were no other alter servers and I was sitting in the back pew, doing nothing. 
All the little “Grandpa-Grandaughter dates” you’d take me on, just me and you, to get ice cream and just sit with each other. The Gilligan’s Island episodes that used to play when you’d rock me to sleep in the rocking chair. Watching the Twilight Zone and Star Trek. 
Our last conversation was about boxing. I wouldn’t change a thing except to say that I will miss you forever and love you twice as long,

We are going to miss my Dad's hugs and kisses.  Rest in peace Daddy until we meet again.

I remember summer visits with you and Aunt Terri pulling up in your truck camper, and all my cousins would all jump out the back !  Good times. My Love, Thoughts, and Prayers are with all of you ❤️ I love you Uncle Bob ❤️
