Michael Wayne Witcombe, son of Wayne and Gladys Witcombe was born in Cherokee, Iowa on April 15, 1952 and passed away in Mesa, Arizona on January12, 2017. Mike was baptized May 11, 1952 and confirmed May 26, 1966 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cherokee, Iowa. He received his education in Cherokee, Iowa, graduating from Washington High School May 26, 1970. In the late summer of 1971 he moved to Tempe, Arizona where he was employed with Lucky's Grocery store but changed his employment and spent most his time in construction.
Mike is survived by five children; Stacey, Mandy, Shanna, Tanya, and Michael Jr., grandchildren; Destiny, Jordan, Mekala, Isabelle, Brayden, Kaitlyn, Keira, Kayden and Abbigail, a great grandchild, Armani, his mother; Gladys Meyer, sisters; Debbie Homer and Mary Mahr, brother; Thomas Witcombe, brother-in-law; Thomas Reynolds III; nieces; Tina, Rylee, nephew; Patrick. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne B. Witcombe December 30, 1991, step-father Gene Meyer, May 5, 2012, his sister Tammy Reynolds on July 19, 2015, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other relatives.
