My Nana,
I will always cherish the memories I have with you. There was never a time where you didn’t made me feel loved or my make my heart warm. I remember whenever you would be over at the house, you’d always hide or eat my vegetables for me behind my parents back because as a kid I would cry not wanting to eat them. You always had my back and loved me unconditionally. You never wanted me to cry or feel anything but happiness. Sleeping with you Nana, whether it was in my room or yours I would feel so safe and comfortable. Being sick as a kid, you would baby sit me. As soon as Walking into your room I would feel so much better, it was like magic. Just how your love and spirit was magical. I’m going to miss you so much Nana but I know you will always be here with me my angel.

Miss you Nana,
I am grateful to be able to have taken care of you for so long. You truly opened my eyes to wanting to become a nurse. Although it was hard at times, it was also great to feel like I could give back and take care of you like you did for me throughout my entire life. I won't forget how you use to drive me around all over even when it was technically walking distance. Me and my friends use to laugh at how you were sometimes a scary driver. You used to cut people off left and right without using a blinker. We use to call your blue Capri the boat because it was so big and always was a smooth ride. I'm eternally grateful for the many years we have gotten to enjoy your company. We were lucky enough to have you living within our home since I was in middle school. My friends and I at that age were grateful for you bussing us around as we jammed out to our music in the big cop car. I enjoy as I got older hanging out at the casinos with you hoping for bonus rounds. Funny enough, what I look back on and enjoyed most was our car rides when you got older. First one to leave party had to take you home. We got to catch up and talk or jam out with our shades on and windows down. Love and miss u always. Thank you for everything. Xo

Where do I begin? 
We will never forget your unwavering love and support that you showed each and every one equally. You were at every birth, wedding, birthday party, graduation, games your grandchildren had, Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Years. I can’t forget visits on weekends and camping trips. You were gracious, hospitable, loving and happy for all. Words can’t begin to express how you are loved and how much you will be missed. We all love you with all our hearts and we’re truly blessed to have had you in our lives. I love you Ofelia! My deepest condolences to all.

Nana, 
Thank you for all you have done for our family you will be greatly missed. I will miss the mornings we spent together watching Charmed or any other tv show together. I will miss our summer trips  when the kids and I would come down to visit and I was able to spend time with you and take you to the casino. I  was lucky that you got to see me get married to David and the birth of your great grandchildren.   I am blessed that you got to spend time  and stories with your great grandchildren. 
You were an amazing strong woman that showed so much love. We love you

My favorite memory of you mom is when you would wake me up on my birthday then sit next to me singing Las Mananitas.  You also taught me to do sana sana colita de marana si no se alivia ahora se alivia manana and rub the kids bumps.  I don't know if it was magic or distraction but it really worked on quieting them down.   You taught me as far back as a child that faith is important by speaking about GOD and making sure we went to church every Sunday.  We walked from 2nd street and Weir to St. Catherines church as children (before you had a car).  Our treat after church was an ice cream cone at Thriftys.  You had me and Bobby receive all our sacraments.  I know you prayed over me a lot and that is the reason GOD blessed me with a man like Pablo.  Mom you were a very hard worker and taught us that we go to work every day and do the best we can and not miss work unless we were deathly ill.  You shared the tradition of making tamales and uniting as a family to bond and end up with something yummy later.  You would always want me to make sure the masa floated and finally got it right the last few years.  My memories after you got sick that I love was when you would sometimes kiss my hand in the morning before your breakfast.  Sometimes to help put you in a good mood for bath I would play on my Bose speaker the song Dura by Daddy Yankee or Coco Rayado and you would start singing them.  Mom I will still be talking to you and I carry you in my heart until we meet again.

Thank you for everything you have given me and your great grandchildren.  We are forever blessed to have such a strong Independent Woman to call Nana.  Nana you saved a young lost 8 year old and because of you, your LOVE, and motherly support that 8 year old was able to receive the mother's love that all children deserve.  I am forever grateful for you.  I will continue to cherish all the memories we had together and share stories of you to my children and their children. We adore you and will miss you tremendously.

Our Dearest Nana Ofelia,

To have you apart of mine & My little family life was truly a blessing! Your love laughter hugs & kisses are going to be missed! Thank you Tia Debbie & family for sharing your nana with us! Auréa & I are going to miss her so much! Your little Bonita Morenita misses you nana and holds you close to her heart! As do I! Aurea and I enjoyed going over to be with you to sit, talk and Aurea always grabbing your stuffed animals to surround you on your bed. We love you & miss you! 

We have so many fond memories of Nana Ofelia. She had the best smile and each time I saw her she made me feel so loved.  I always enjoyed visiting with her at backyard pool parties at Tio Pablo & Debbie's house. My favorite memories are of her chatting with her comadre,  in the kitchen at Nana's house. Ofelia will always be my Nana of the heart. I am so blessed that my own  kids were also able to call you Nana. There are so many fun memories from over the years but watching you dance will always be a favorite. You found so much joy in music and being surrounded by family.
