

Robert (Bob) Moreland Moskop, 83, of Mesa, Arizona died April 1, 2022. He passed away after a short, unexpected illness. Bob was born 1939 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, to the late Clarence and Ethel Moskop. He was the oldest of four children, one sibling preceded him in death. Bob is survived by wife Beverly, his two sons Bob Jr and Bryan (Carrie). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren spread throughout the states.
Bob attended school in the Phoenix School System and Phoenix Tech High School. In 1956 Bob joined the U.S. Navy right out of high school. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Beverly, in 1957. After his enlistment ended, he went to work for the Phoenix Union High School System until he retired in 1998.
Bob enjoyed camping, RVing, and traveling worldwide with his family. He was an avid lover of all animals, including turtles, goats, an owl, rabbits, dogs, cats and his long-time best buddy, Skipper the parrot. Bob had many traits and talents, but one that stands out most was his gift of gab; Bob never met a stranger. Bob was a devoted family man, often lovingly bragging about the many successes of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was also dedicated to his faith and was an active member of his church.
Funeral services will be held at Resthaven Park East Cemetery, at the onsite funeral home, 4310 E Southern, Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be at 11 am; Services will commence at 12pm.
