Stacey Dustin Hawkins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stacey Dustin Hawkins, 54, son of Zelma Hawkins and Charles Hawkins Sr. (deceased). Stacey passed peacefully on June 18, 2025 surrounded by family and valed in prayer.

He was known for his fun- loving character, enthusiasm to uplift others, love for The Raiders and his affinity for technology. Stacey showed an early interest in computer tech and gaining education and extensive knowledge in the Tech field. He was immediately noticed by IBM but would later pivot his career advancing as IT Director for Roosevelt and Riverside School Districts. In this capacity, as a result of his work ethic and dedication, his range of skills and responsibilities increased. He became a valued resource in ensuring that decisions are made to maintain optimal IT operations.

Above all Stacey was a loving father to his children. He is survived by his sons Stacey Jr., London and Judah, his daughters Sasha, Payton, and daughters in spirit, Jaylaa and Camari. He will be remembered as an amazing uncle, a cherished brother and cousin, and a beacon of light to all that he met.

Celebration of life is scheduled for July 17, 2025, at 10 AM. Church service will be at Greater Bethel AME Church, 7040 S 40th St, Phoenix, AZ, 85042.

Burial will take place at 1:30 PM at Resthaven Carr- Tenney Mortuary and Memorial Gardens, 4310 E Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ, 85042.

Repast will take place at 3 PM at Percy L. Julian Elementary School, 2149 E Carver Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85040.
