84, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2012. Velia was bron in Phoenix, AZ and led a life devoted to her family, faith, and caring for others. Her tortillas, tamales, heart and smile will be missed. Velia is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years; Joe P. Reynoso, her parents; Rafael and Manuela, her sister; Alice, and her brother; Rudy. Velia is survived by her five children; Reynaldo (Susan), Jose Luiz (Jennifer), Rosemarie, Rachel (Bob), Robert (Gloria),15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her brother; Gilbert, her sister in laws; Betty, Elena, Maria, Mary, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. A special thanks goes out to Wilma, Brendy, Marylou, and Jason of Desert Breeze Assisted Living and the Hospice of the Valley team who were so generous in their care and love for Velia. A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 6401 S. Central Ave. in Phoenix, with the Rosary beginning at 9:00am and Mass to follow at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St. in Phoenix, AZ immediately following Velia's Funeral Mass.
