William “Bill” Ortiz Valenzuela, born on November 17, 1944, in Phoenix, Arizona, peacefully passed away on April 2, 2024, in Tempe, Arizona. He was the beloved son of Clara Ortiz Valenzuela and Juan Valenzuela.
William was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marta E. Valenzuela, and his brothers Elias Valenzuela and Cruz Valenzuela. He is survived by his brother Reynaldo Valenzuela, sister Mary Lou Luzunaris, daughter Gracie Valenzuela, son Victor Valenzuela, and granddaughter Ariel Reyes.
In addition to his dedication to his family, William also served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. William was a man of great intellect and diligence. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in accounting and went on to have a successful career as an accountant with the City of Phoenix, where he eventually retired.
His dedication and hard work were evident in everything he pursued, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him. He was a man of God and had unwavering faith. May he rest in eternal peace in heaven with his beloved wife and brothers.
