Dear Grandma,

There hasn't been a time that I haven't stopped thinking about you, as of today makes it 3 years and 1 day since you passed away. I am happy that you are in a better place and able to see the family grow. I am missing you a little extra today which is why I am writing this. I am however, extremely happy that I have memories of us at the house on stone street when I lived with you; as well as, the letters I recieved from you while I was in bootcamp. The 16th of February will be 9 years from when I first went to bootcamp for the Navy and the last day I was under the same roof as you. I miss the conversations we would have at the kitchen table about life decisions and our little jokes. I also can never make the corn beef hash as well as you did, I believe that is because you made it with so much love. I never had a break down about your death, but today... today I have. I tried to be strong about it; but there was no reason to, you were always my strongest anchor that kept me on track to succeed in life. You were always there when I didn't think there was light at the end of the tunnel. I just want to say the I REALLY miss you and love you with all my heart!

Everyday I still look at I our pictures together...I'm still missing you daily, it's so hard to go on without you! I love you and miss you...when I sit with you and grandpa I sit there and can't help but think your actually listening to me tell you all about what's going on....just as you did everyday since I was little. I love you so much!! Butterfly kisses...Eskimo kisses and monster kisses until we meet again grandma.

As I think back on my visits with you and how lucky I've been to know and feel what unconditional love is, I know your happy and at peace. You were always on the go and always on time!  How I'd love to see you again. You're my everything.

Grandma, you were my everything. Every good memory I have includes you. I can feel you all around me. For selfish reasons, I'm sad. But I know you're with Nina, Grandpa & Grandma Trini. I dreamt of Grandpa the other day. I know you brought him to visit me. Thank you. I love you. I miss you. I think of you all the time. I think of you when I sing to my babies. You were always singing to me. I miss your voice.

I knew it was only a matter of time grandma...u fought so long and went through alot this past year. I believe my mom helped you "let go" we are all heart broken. My heart broke into pieces..can it break again? Yes... Your are at peace now..an angel looking over all of us..no more pain. ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS.. Lots of good times. Grandma I'm so sorry the last times I visited you that I didn't stay long. It broke my heart to see you this way. The memories I have of you I will forever hold dear to my heart. My 8th grade graduation. Birthdays. You always remembered birthdays, always. I remember when we would stay at your house in LA. I miss you more than words and I know you are a beautiful guardian angel to MANY. I'll see you again one day and then you can continue to tell me stories about when I was little. Love you.

So sorry for you loss. Your mom and your entire family have always been a special to me and my family. My mom used to tell me how your mom taught her a lot about having a big family and she was always thankful for what she learned. I have nothing but good memories of your mom. She will truly be missed. Love you all.

My love,  my life, the reason I woke up everyday. This past year was amazing to be with you, to talk to you, just to sit and watch you sleep. There are so many memories to reflect on. All the pictures I've taken are saved and protected,  just the way you protected me throughout life. As I sit here and pray this is a nightmare, you're still here...When I saw you on Tuesday,  you looked relaxed and content. Usually, I'd have tears if you didn't respond and you would clinch my hand, kind of like you were telling me, "it's ok"...this time you didn't, and it's because I didn't shed tears,  or try hard to wake you up. You might have thought I saw you at peace and not in pain. Again, I took my pictures of you....my life, my love....My Grandma I love you with all my heart, here's a butterfly kiss. An Eskimo kiss... and a monster kiss!  Tell My Grandpa/Daddy Ray, "hello" and thank God for giving us the time to show one another how much love and appreciation we have for each other. I love you!!
