I met Gus in 7th grade, and we quickly became friends. Gus and I were always joking and laughing. He was a super cool guy, who always had a smile on his face. He and I were a part of a big group of friends who met in elementary and middle school. We would spend our school days  laughing,  joking, talking sports, playing "over the line" baseball after school, and just goofing on each other. Although life took us in all different directions after high school, I am grateful we all had a chance to reunite last year. It was like time had never passed, we picked up right where we left off,  Gus was the same lovely guy. Gus we will never forget you, thank you for your friendship brother, I can still hear your laugh. May God bless your daughters and family.

Even in my yearbook, he wrote funny stuff. Gus and I were a part of a big group of friends. We had fun talking about sports, playing over the line after school, and just goofing on each other. Although life took us all in different directions after high school, I am so thankful that we got a chance to reunite last year after so many years. It was incredible how we picked up just how we left off. Gus was the same guy. A lovely human being. I am Daisy, friend since childhood.  But for me, Tavito was like a cousin.  I have childhood memories with him and fam.  One of them when we use to go to his mother's house and we all played hide and seek. From my adolescence  was when we went to Magic Mountain, I think that memory left a mark on me.  And the last time I saw him was at my grandmother's funeral.  I remember that we talked and he told me "we have to stay in touch" and from there I kept in contact.  I will always remember him as a good son and the brother we would like to have. I will always remember him with that unique smile he had.

To my dad, i will forever cherish every moment I had with you. You had made me who I am today and there’s not a single thing I would want to change about that. You always like to brighten up others even if you were down. You had turned my dark days into bright memories I will forever keep within me. I will miss every late night talk I had with you just talking about life and how crazy your teenage years were. We will stay up until 3 or even 4 am just sharing to each other about our life goals and how we want accomplish them. Or just talk about music and share to each other what music we listen to. You had always told me to always keep reaching for the stars no matter what happens and I will continue doing that for you dad. I miss you and love you so much, I know your up there reconnecting with other loved ones and rocky of course 🤍🕊. To my 2 angels up there, I will forever miss you guys and you guys will always stay within me. Until we meet again🤍

To my Brother Tavo, one of my favorite memories of you and I is when we were off for the summer, we would watch "The Price Is Right!" together on the living room floor on our "old school" big TV. I cherished those moments with you. I Love You.

My name is Alex jimenez I worked side by side with Gus everyday… we were partners.. when I first started with hp I shadowed him .. learned the trade, together we grew as a team and as friends.. there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss him.. I remember him always talking about his girls and how much he cared for them. Your dad always had a great attitude and a huge heart. worked really hard and was an exceptional engineer.. I would like you all to know he was a huge part of our hp family we all cared for and loved him as a brother. my life will forever be changed for the better because of your dad and I will never forget the kind beautiful soul that he was and I will make sure his kindness and laughter and just all around amazingness will carry with me for as long as I live.. I’m sorry for the loss of your father he was a great man.

Gus was Alway Smiling,  and a great friend/co- worker to be around.

My favorite memories of Tavo as kids are when we use to go to the park a play baseball with his friends Eddy, junior and his neighbor victor. Then having a Nintendo baseball stars tournament amongst cousins. Then we would have family parties in his backyard and that’s kinda where I learned to dance.  We will never forget his laugh. He was always a fun person to be around. Love you Tavo! RIP
