

Andrew E. Mayeaux, a native of Mansura, LA and resident of Pierre Part, LA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 89. Andrew proudly served in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion in Pierre Part and also a member of AARP. Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Belle Nola Leader Mayeaux; daughters, Alice Marie Mayeaux, Agnes Mayeaux Coleman and husband, Michael, Ann Mayeaux Broussard and husband, Michael; son, Andrew “Ernie” Mayeaux, Jr. and wife, Luoi; grandchildren, Faye Ann Broussard, Elaine Belle Broussard, Kyle Fenton Coleman, Killian Andrew Coleman, Kieran Timothy Coleman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louise Gremillion Mayeaux and Esnard Andrew Mayeaux; sisters, Dorothy Rabalais and Rhea Cooper. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Visitation will resume at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 8:00a.m. until service at 9:30a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated by Rev Al Davidson. Burial to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery in Baton Rouge. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Hospice of South Louisiana, Doctor Francis Metz and staff, Liz Barbier, Barbara Guillot, wonderful friends Abner and Judy Rivere, and everyone who offered prayers and support for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Andrew’s name to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
