

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Fannie enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, flowers, and fishing. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Clara Blanchard and husband, J-Boy; son, Gregory Hebert and wife, Tyonia; three grandchildren, Laurie Rivere, Holly Matusiak, and Trevor Hebert Sr.; three great grandchildren, Eli Flint, Carter Flint, and Trevor "T.J." Hebert Jr.; four step great grandchildren, Bently Duke, Marleigh Duke, Alex Matusiak, and Carter Matusiak; one sister, Nora Couple and two brothers, Leonie Metrejean and Freddie Metrejean Sr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Laury Hebert; parents, Caesar and Gertie Metrejean; one sister, Marcella Joseph and one brother, Vitus Metrejean.
The family would like to thank Journey Hospice, Bayou Home Health, and Dr. Francis Metz III.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Ourso Funeral Home from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
