Flavia Pauline Daigle Sedotal, 90, a native and resident of Pierre Part, LA, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. Flavia had a passion for spending time with her family, flowers, keeping her yard neat, the outdoors, decorating for the holidays, and watching Lawrence Welk on Saturday nights. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 71 years, Alton “Ta-Tan” Sedotal; four children, Clarice Dupree, Cynthia Blanchard (Thomas Sr.), Darlene “Dolly” Gaspard (Grady), and Bryan Sedotal; seven grandchildren, Gretta Theriot (Terry), Hilary Dupree (Jacob), Nicole King, Tommy Blanchard Jr. (Timbra), Jamie Marino, Jebb Sedotal (Rene), and Helena Salmon (Eric); nine great grandchildren, Shelbi Theriot, Kip Theriot, Secily Theriot, Dawson Blanchard, Kolby Boudreaux, Ayden Marino, Kynlee Marino, Chloe Sedotal, and Easton Salmon; three great-great grandchildren, Allie Hebert, Hunter Hebert, and Cash Berger; two sisters-in-law, Gertie Daigle and Roberta Daigle. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cryil Sr. and Pauline Crochet Daigle; one grandchild, Kip Dupree; one great grandchild, Karsey King; eleven siblings, Lucy, Agnes, Lizzie and Janette Landry, Josephine Daigle, Cyril Daigle Jr., Richard, Alphonse, Alger, Lloyd, and Jimmy Daigle and one son-in-law, Florise Dupree. Due to current circumstances with COVID19 the visitation for Flavia will be private. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11am with interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
