Gloria Hebert

Gloria Metrejean Hebert, 64, died on Saturday, July 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Pierre Part. She is survived by her husband, Roy Joseph Hebert; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Shan Perera, and Sandy and Anthony “Tony” Sanchez; two grandchildren, Kaiden and Kylie Sanchez; one sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Alvin Landry; and one brother and sister-in-law, Clay Sr. and Rosa Mae Metrejean.

Preceded in death by her parents, Esma Cavalier and Claiborne Metrejean; one daughter, Sonia Hebert; one son, Troy Hebert, five sisters, Alice Gros, Hazel Millet, Elsie Pitre, Suzanne LaCosta, and Dianne Metrejean; and one brother, Ulysse Metrejean.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part.

Pallbearers will be Chris Domingue, Roland Millet, Jr., Chris Metrejean, Leslie Granier, Rodney Metrejean, Clinton Gros, and Randy Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be her two sons-in-law, Shan Perera and Anthony “Tony” Sanchez and her grandson, Kaiden Sanchez.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church Maintenance Fund.
