Henry Joseph Domingue

A lifelong commercial and recreational fisherman from Belle River, Henry Joseph Domingue, loved nothing more than coming across a full crawfish trap that would load down the boat. He was born on March 4, 1944 as the second child of Gilbert, Sr. and Agnes Cavalier Domingue and step son of Alphones “Rock” Aucoin of Pierre Part, La. He entered heavens gates at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the age of 71 surrounded by his family and friends. Henry was a family man that devoted his life to providing and caring for his loved ones. He is survived by his fiancé, Lesia Albarado of Pierre Part; two daughters, Buffy Domingue and Mary Baham both of Pierre Part; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eno Sr. and Laonna of Pierre Part and Randy and Stacey of Ovett, Mississippi. He was blessed with eight grandchildren, Brittany and husband, Johney Johnson, Ashley, Kaylin, Eno Jr., Tyra, Bryllie, Brayden, and Lea. He was also blessed with one great grandchild, Aniya. He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Davis and Carol, and Gilbert Jr and DiDi both of Pierre Part, La; five sisters, Sara Landry, Beverly and husband, Ricky Guillot, Audrey Domingue, Debra and husband, Horace Gaspard, all from Pierre Part, La; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Henry Jr.; parents, Gilbert and Agnes Domingue; step father, Alphonse “Rock” Aucoin; grandparents, Eno and Azella Cavalier, Chabert and Mamie Domingue.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Belle River.
