Herbert "Yabby" Rivere

Yabby enjoyed hunting and spending time making his garden.

Yabby is survived by his daughters, Sonia Coupel (Herbert), Tammy Guillot (Dale), Tina Courville (Glen) and Ramona Boudreaux; step-daughters, Bonnie Hebert and Darlene Rentrop; 17 grandchildren, Candice, Tara, Guy, Hayden, Devin, Blaine, Shea, Trent, Beau, Beth, Abbie, Evan, Ginger, Micheal, Harley, Kelly and David; and numerous great grandchildren and sister, Linda Cavalier.

He is preceded in death by his1st wife, Grace Crochet Rivere, 2nd wife Virginia Guillot Rivere; parents, Clabert and Edna Rivere; children, Ronnie and Marlo Rivere; step grandson Randall Cavalier; brothers, Ervin, Harry, Leonard, Alvin, Herman Rivere; sister Vivian Domingue.

Pallbearers will be Devin Guillot, Blaine Guillot, Trent Rivere, Guy Coupel, Beau Courville and Evan Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Tori Cedotal and Hayden Coupel.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Ourso Funeral Home Pierre Part from 9am until service time at 11:30am. Funeral services will be at 11:30am. Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Cemetery.
