Odile Templet Mabile

“Give her a reward for her labors, and let her works praise her at the city gates” (Proverbs 31:31) Odile Templet Mabile, 92, a life-long resident of Pierre Part gained her Heavenly reward on Thursday, June 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. A life filled with prayer, devotion to family, service to others, her church and her community exemplified her love for Christ.

She is survived by her eight children, Anthony Mabile (Linda), Anna Mabile, Eddie Mabile (Dotty), Marsha Medine (Bruce), Marie Mabile, Maureen Mabile, Lynn Blanchard (Travis), and Linda Aucoin (Barry); fourteen grandchildren, Russ Mabile (Cami), Blaine Mabile (Paula), Ryan Mabile (Taryn), Travis Medine (Cherie), Mikki Fazzio (Justin), Patrick Blanchard, Caroline Blanchard, Catherine Parker (Trey), Corinne Blanchard, Madeline Landry (Tyler), Mitchell Aucoin; Toby Gaudet (Chyenne), Tara Gaudet (Keith), Terry Chandler (Jessica); and 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Regina Templet, and one sister-in-law, Hilda Templet. She is preceded in death by her husband Zenon Mabile; parents Eddie and Valerie Templet, one sister, Elda Alleman, and three brothers, Hemley, Laury and Harry Templet. The family would like to thank Father Al Davidson, Dr. Eric Gravois and staff, nurse Shana Blanchard, and Cardinal Hospice nurses Jennifer and JoAnn. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial to follow in church cemetery. Fr. Al Davidson will be officiating.
