Shane Paul McCarthy

Shane was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Shane was a carpenter by trade. He loved the simple things in life, especially his dogs and chickens. He enjoyed having a good time, camping with friends, but most of all, running his dogs. Listening and watching them while they ran was always special to him. He was a kind soul with a great big heart. He always tried to help friends in need, even when he didn't have much to give.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two siblings, Lisa McCarthy Guillot (Chad) and Leonard McCarthy Jr. (Mindy); nieces and nephews, Chaz Guillot, Claire Blanchard (Beanie), Nicholas McCarthy, and Brittany Matte; great nephews, Ty Guillot, Layne Blanchard, and Landon Guillot; best friend, Jamie Landry (Letty), and numerous other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Brenda Gros McCarthy & Leonard “Mac” McCarthy, and his love, Stormy Kay Arnette.

A memorial service celebrating Shane's life will be announced at a later date.
