Stanley Rivere, Sr., resident of Pierre Part and native of Napoleonville, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the age of 65. He was a retired diesel mechanic and U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a loving father and wonderful brother. He is survived by his sons, Stanley Rivere, Jr. and Spencer J. Rivere; sisters, Isabel Cavalier, Janice Rivere, and Jeanette Rivere; and his ex-wife, Erika Rivere Crosby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eves and Rosa Jean Breaux Rivere. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6pm to 10pm and will resume on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 8am until Mass of Christian Burial will at 11am at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
