I worked with Chris for years and found him to be one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was funny and sincere and kind and no one knew more about his work than he did. I am so sorry for Linda and their family about losing Chris. He was an iconic member of the crew on which he worked. Everyone knew that he was the "go to" guy if you wanted things done right. I am saddened to think that he was robbed of what should have been a long, happy retirement enjoying his family. Anyone who knew Chris had their life enhanced from the experience. He will be sorely missed.

I met Chris at my uncle's marina way back, and have not seen him in so many years.  He always had a big fun personality and I never will forget him.  We just friended him on Face Book recently and I am so happy to see pictures of Chris with his family.  Wonderful what you have built, I am sure his life really started getting great with Linda and the children.  Condolences to each of you in your loss, and glad for your faith that life is eternal.

Chris, you were a great confidante especially at work. I will miss you and the great laughs we had, and I will miss the fondest stories about Megan. My sincerest condolences to the family. You will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

Uncle Chris was great, he brought his dry wit and sarcasm everytime we were together. A trait my sister and I promise to carry on. My favorite memory was Christmas eve and I asked him why he was the only one in the family that didn't get into the fair business.  His answer "I get a paycheck every week, I know how much it is and I don't get nervous if it's going to rain on the weekend. "  truest words I ever heard, and Thanksgiving at uncle Chris and aunt Linda's was always an event to look forward to. I'm glad I got a chance to sit and talk with aunt Linda and him this fall while I was getting mulch from his house. I'll miss you uncle Chris you were the patriarch of the family and it will never be the same without you. Chris was always there to help. He was a kind and caring brother-in-law, brother and the best uncle Carol and Mark could ever ask for. The traditional Thanksgiving at Uncle Chris and Aunt Linda’s was always a cherished memory - and took precedence over Thanksgiving  anywhere else. The kids will miss that but will always have such wonderful memories. Poopsie baby and Markie have been lucky to have such a kind and funny uncle. Even though things change over the years- Chris will always be a warm memory. My love and support to the family.
