Denny was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, April 6, 1952, to Emil and Gerry Czetli. After graduating Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1970, he served in the Air Force and attended Ohio State University before moving to Florida, to work as a producer/director for a cable TV station.
An easy-going, fun-loving, and creative person, Denny used his versatile skills to help family and friends with home improvement projects, always regaling them with hilarious stories. As a World War II history buff Denny always had a good book going, loved golf and fishing, and was a diehard fan of the Buckeyes and Steelers.
He is survived by his 97 year old mother Gerry, of Cuyahoga Falls; his sister Linda Evans and husband Gregory McAllister of Portland, Oregon; his brother Eric Czetli and wife Marlene of Cuyahoga Falls; his nephew Brian Evans and wife Jill Leary; his nephews Eric Czetli and Aaron Czetli; and his neice Alison Van Raaphorst and husband Michael. He was preceded in death by his father, Emil, of Cuyahoga Falls.
Cremation has taken place.
