I had met Vanessa and the Cupid family when they moved nextdoor to us, in Pompano Beach. I have never and will never have as nice a friend as she. Over the years we developed a unique friendship at that. We didn't live next store but we were always neighbors. There was never a time she didn't have a scripture to share. She always listened, never judged and could help shine a spiritual light on whatever I was concerned with at the time. We had many laughs over the years.
I will always remember and cherish those memories of our friendship. I will miss her greatly and do now. Knowing she is with our Lord eases my mind in that sense.
She truely was a great friend that I will never forget. Nor will I ever meet a woman as nice as her. Thank You Vanessa. With Much Love. KoKo

My dearest Aunty Ven as we all called you, what a blessing and a privilege it was to have you as a part of our family. How I respected you as a child and as a young man and now a middle age man. You were so beautiful, warm and loving. You were always so encouraging and loving. You have left a remarkable legacy here on earth. Know that you will never be forgotten and always loved by all of us in the family. I was so privileged to have you as a very special aunt, that meant so much to me and the other members of my family. If only we could have you a little longer. I am so grateful that one day I will see you again and get to spend eternity with you and the others who have taken that journey.
Rest in Peace, and may light perpetual shine on you.
In loving Memory
Marcus

Her Smile

Though her smile is gone forever, and your hands I cannot touch,
I still have many memories of you. I have a picture of you giving
me a great big bear hug, the last picture we took together.
Your memory is a keepsake, with which I will never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.
Sadly missed, but never forgotten
Your nephew Marcus

I have known Venessa Cupid for many years and observed that she lived a Christian life. Her relationship with God through Jesus Christ affected every area of her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, faithful church member, and dedicated worker. She persevered under trials and has left an exemplary legacy to other generations.
