Binh Van Tran

Binh was a retired self employed shrimper for 40 years. He and his wife moved here from Vietnam in 1975. He was a member of the Queen of Vietnam Church. He enjoyed fishing, helping at his church and having a good time.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Thinh Tran.

His survivors include his wife, Cop Tran of Port Arthur; 2 sons, Anthony Trieu Tran and wife Phong Nguyen, Richard Hieu Tran and wife Thuy Tran; 3 daughters, Brenna Tuoi Tran and husband Dung Van Tran, Ngat Tran and husband Peter Chung Nguyen, Becky Nu Tran and husband Ruan Van Nguyen; a brother, Tu Tran; 2 sisters, Uoc Tran, Hoa Tran; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A wake took place Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. and a visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel, Port Arthur.

Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at the Queen of Vietnam Church with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
