The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur, TX. A graveside Service will follow at 5:30 PM Big Woods/ Antioch Cemetery in Edgerly, LA. Pastor

dale Lee of the Cowboy Church of Orange County will officiate the services.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Lake Charles, LA on March 3, 1928.

She was an avid bowler, gardener and a fantastic needle worker. Above all, she was a devoted pet lover. She was loved by many, as she loved many.

She was preceded in death by her husband George R. Kennedy; her mother, Sarita Addington; her father, Joseph Turner; her brother, Gilbert Turner and her daughter Sherry Lyons.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her Daughter, Linda and her Husband Allen Bertrand of Orange, TX; her son, Terry and his wife Lynne Hanks of Vidor, TX; six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and an adopted daughter Dorthy Denton.
