Goldie was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a member of St. James Catholic Church. She had worked at Gulf Oil Refinery and Fair Store. She married William E. Gregory on May 16, 1956 in Nederland. Goldie was a world traveler, a wonderful cook, enjoyed painting and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; and a grandson, John William Gregory.
She is survived by her son, Greg H. Gregory and wife Veronica of Broken Arrow, Ok; a daughter, Connie Harvel; and her friend and caretaker, Patricia Trosclair of Port Arthur.
A visitation has been scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur.
