Janita Mills Fontenot

Janita is survived by her daughter, Michelle Fontenot; her sons, Joe Fontenot Jr. and Beau Fontenot; and her sisters, Ravenna Dater and Narayne Rougeau. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joseph Fontenot, Sr.; her parents, Eddie and Winona Mills; and her sisters, LaWanna Mills Lucas and Watonia Mills.

Visitation for Family and Friends of Janita Fontenot will be held at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642, on March 23, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Celebration Memorial Service to Celebrate The Life Of Janita Fontenot will be held at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642, on March 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Final resting place is Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves.
